Main Points from AGM 2011 held January 18th 2012

Over 90 OWN members attended the AGM held in the Academy Plaza Hotel, Dublin on Wednesday January 18th last. Brenda Whitley who was co-opted onto the Board in early 2011 was nominated for a permanent Board position and Peig Mc Manus from Donabate was elected from the membership.

Veronica Willis from OWN Sydney made a wonderful presentation to the membership on the work of OWN NSW.

Motions proposed at the AGM to reduce the term of Directors from 6 years to 4 and to increase membership fees were agreed,
