Breastlight is designed to be used by women in the comfort of their homes as part of their regular breast awareness activity. This handheld device allows them to see inside their breasts. Breastlight shines a powerful red light through the breast tissue so that they can see some of the details inside. The light, which is completely harmless, highlights blood vessels in the breast. Any dark spots or shadows might suggest an abnormality that should be checked out with a doctor. This way they can get to know what’s normal for them, spot any changes and hopefully feel more confident that they are looking after their body the way they would like to.
