Free Osteoporosis Talk in Dublin 2

The Irish Osteoporosis Society will be holding a free lecture on Thursday 20th October at 7.30pm  to celebrate World Osteoporosis Day. This lecture is free and open to the public. 50% of women and 20% of men over 50 will break bones from this silent disease. Osteoporosis often goes undiagnosed because there are no obvious symptoms. Only 15% of cases are diagnosed. It is being held in the Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin 2.

The speaker for the event is Professor Moira O'Brien, President of the Irish Osteoporosis Society.
